Ohio Benefit Bank Counselor – The Ohio Benefit Bank is a public-private partnership that provides community outreach and access to low income families.  The Ohio Benefit Bank is an internet program to help low income families file their taxes.  Partners in Hope is looking for volunteer  tax counselors.   No previous tax preparation experience is required.  Training will be provided and is conducted by the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks.  The next training will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Tipp City.

Circles Ally – The Circle Ally will make an intentional friendship with a family in poverty, increase awareness of one’s own stereotypes and class rules, advocate within the community for changes in the systems barriers that keep poverty in place.  The ally makes a commitment to meet with a family on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
